What do you think?

I could use your advice, I am working on a little website, not sure if I want to do a traditional website or a blogsite. Having a blog for a website means it would always be updated with new things {good for search engines I guess} and not just sitting there collecting dust, so to speak. What do you think?
Pretty sure I will keep my "shop" at Etsy, love it over there just haven't had much time to post new things, not that I have new things. I did make Kudzu Blossom and Lavender soap yesterday and I have a few new surprises for you... hopefully by next week.

Lately it feels like all my days are running together.... I hear it's common when you work from home. The last few weeks have been a bit crazy and the to do list keeps getting longer. The garden is in, but you know what comes next. There are goat babies to feed, did I tell you about that? The boys are out for summer break and even though they are 14 and 15, they make our house look like a tornado has hit, thankful they do help cleanup when I can grab their attention. Oh and Zack, the youngest {14} broke his elbow. Not a serious break, more like a hairline but he's healing nicely, there's a silly story about how that happened that I will have to share later.
Brian has been busy with his carpentry work, which keeps me busy helping him with the loose ends. Whew, a bit tired here. You would think after 17 years of marriage I would be more organized, but there is always something new to add to our happy little mix; any advice on how to stay on top of things?

thank you Crystal for the bloggy award!

Hi Lori!
Since I am really computer illiterate, I am no help to you. I just know I don't want to lose you in the mix! And since you helped me get on Etsy, I would hate to have you give that up!
The Kudzu Blossom and Laender soap sound devine! And I love surprises!
I hear ya when you say days are running together. I ask myself, often, how did God make everything in six days and I have trouble with keeping up with my little space? It's a good thing He's God and I am not!!!
I remember kids doing that to our house, too. Now it is just hubby and I and it still gets that way. I don't know how other than we do live here! :~} One day is never the same as the next, here either! Makes it kind of hard to establish a routine. I love an old saying my Grandmother had hanging in her house; "My house is clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy!" We are both happy and healthy so I guess we're doin' good!
Blessings on your weekend, dear friend!

This post clears it up..I am NOT CRAZY..I do see BLOGSITE..ok, you are still a trendy thing...
lol

Lori..gosh girl..I know everything you saying much to well..so sorry about your son's elbow, sometimes the smaller things hurt more. (ya know, like a paper cut..those lil boogers are bad..) I am going to have to buy some of your soap. I think staying on etsy is good..because if people do a search on etsy you will show up.

staying on top of things? I find there is a few breif momemnts when you can breath and feel, WOW I have got everything done. However it is moments, seconds..there is always something to do. It sounds as if you are super buzy too with farm animals.

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...

and days running together, bath days are the day when..well tuesday for sure cause i have to go in public..lol

balance can become a problem..because you will fill pulled in so many directions, then you SURRENDOR AND KNOW this is life, and God is there in everymoment..even in our pity party ugly moments, and in the great moments. So a constant line of communication a must!
sigh...
xoxo

I must say, I'm also new to this stuff but i think you should gather more information from experts before jumping to a conclusion and then decide whatever you think is best for your site.
